Amanda Bynes ‘Retires’ From Acting on Twitter
Amanda Bynes, we hardly knew…
The 24-year-old actress, whose body of work includes “She’s the Man,” “What I Like About You” and “What a Girl Wants,” has retired, according to her Twitter account.
In a series of posts between 2:58 a.m. and 3:25 a.m. on Saturday, Bynes said “I don’t love acting anymore so I stopped doing it” … and “i know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired.”
Her final contribution to cinema, something called “Easy A,” is listed as being in post-production in IMDb.com.

I am so heartbroken, she was my favorite actress. I am quite disappointed, hopefully this is just a phase and she will get back to work soon. she is still in her prime for crying out loud!

You know, I was shocked for a minute. I’m also coweb of th site, and got the news TODAY on E! News, when I come here you’ve posted it already. I really can’t believe it. She’s great at her work.
I’m so dissappointed, about what this site will be after this, about her fans, about her life from now on… about her twitter addiction, about her desire of having a husband and having a fmaily, I’ve loved this girl ever since the Amanda show and I don’t think she has to retire. Maybe if we make something massive, twitter shoutouts, a fan video, something, she’ll regret.
But this gets me very sad, who will be my favourite female actress now? I wish I had seen lots more of her.

well, the lady did make a decision. All the protests on the world cant change her mind , she needs to decide for herself. But things like fan videos and massive twitter shout-outs could maybe help persuade her, or at-least have her explain herself more directly.

I read her Twtter every day and I was literally shocked when I saw those Tweets. IMO she’s one of the most beautiful and talented actresses in Hollywood with such a sweet personality and a gorgeous smile. I could watch her movies like every day and I wouldn’t get bored. I hope she changes her mind.

Wow! But… whatever makes her happy. I understand. I’m watching WILAY again and I’ll miss the chance to see her in new (funny) characters, but the amazing work she did in the past it’s there forever! U go girl! All of us should be that brave to leave behind what’s not good for us anymore! I hope fans accept this decision and wish her well. In the future who knows! She’s young
