Today’s ‘HD Hottie’ is Amanda Bynes, who stars tonight in high-def in Hairspray at 9 p.m. on Cinemax West.
Of course, we all already knew she was a hottie – especially in high def!

Even in these tough economic times, networks order far more scripts than will ever become pilot episodes and many more pilots than will be picked up as series.

Screen Gems has made a two-picture deal with Amanda Bynes.

The network upfronts were this week and sadly, Canned was not on ABC’s schedule.  I was really hoping that they would change their mind or that another network would pick it up but it didn’t happen.  Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Amanda will find a great new role soon!

Not everybody can star in Footloose, but they certainly seem to be trying.
Miley Cyrus is the latest hot young thing being considered for the leading-lady role in the remake of the song-and-dance extravaganza, E! News has exclusively learned.

I’ve been reading all the reports about the shows ABC has or has not picked up for next season and I can’t find anything about Canned.  Things are not looking good for the series but we’ll know for sure on Tuesday when ABC makes their official announcement.

There’s a rumor floating around the web that Amanda is scheduled to be at the premiere of 17 Again on April 14th.  Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that this is true.  Bynes Source will of course be bringing you photo coverage as soon as we possibly can.
